    For me personally I would rather use my Google Home, because of a few convinces: a pause button on the Google Home, rather than a useless button to summon Alexa on the Echo, touch controls on the Google Home rather than physical buttons on the Echo. One thing that is useful for the Echo device is you can buy products with the smart speaker or add items to your shopping chart on amazon. With the Google Home you are able to add items to your Google Keep Notes. One pro with the Echo is that the word to summon it is just one world rather than the Google Home is two words "hey google" or "ok google". Amazon music isn't available with google smart speaker and with the Echo devices Google services aren't available with (Google Play Books or YouTube Music) if you care or use these services. Another pro with the Echo devices is if you buy ebooks with Amazon you have the option to of a computer reading the books to you through the Echo device or through your phone. (not an actual person reading) (a feature that is available with the Google Home app). With the Amazon Alexa is required for download for the your Echo device you have the option to cast your audio books from Audible and stream music in the Amazon Alexa app. The app for Amazon Alexa is more constructed than the Google Home app. I bought this Echo device to listen to audio books with Audible but to realize that some books are cheaper on the Google Play Books. If you have read through this thanks and I hope this will help you make a decision on what you buy.
