Great funny helpful love it need another Happy play

The mother in law loves it. Good Christmas present.

The only issue is that it stops offline too often.

Bought for my mother to use so she can play with it. She likes the music option and setting timers. I will never have one in my home but figure if they want to listen in on an 86 year old lady they must have more time on their hands than anyone should.

the price was right. but you get what you pay for as i expected the sound qaulity to be better. the music sounds similiar to an old AM radio, very mono tone. Also not the easiest to set up/program. it kinda sucks

The major issue we’ve seen with the 4th generation Echo is the volume is always too low. As much as we ask Alexa to increase volume, it never happens. We had hopes of using two as stereo speakers and they’ve been disappointing in that aspect.

The speaker is solid. Not really as great as everyone seems to think. Alexa sings funny songs. It could be my home, but it disconnects from the internet quite a but. Didn’t work as well with the FireTV as I had hoped.

I have three other echo devices. Two dot 3rd gen and 1 other 4th. This one sounds like the sound is coming from a tin can. I can't get it to adjust- sounds like there is no bass and even when I turn it up it doesn't sound near as good as the other dots straight out of the box. I may try to return because I'm wondering if it is just a defective speaker. I love all of my other echo dots, so this was really disappointing. It was only $10, when normally they're much more, so I'm wondering if this is why it was so inexpensive.

I rated it average just for the sound quality. It’s about the same as the previous echo dot. It does what it is suppose to do without issues. So if you are not looking for a great sounding speaker to play music it is the choice

Mine stopped working after a few months of irregular use. I don’t know why. It sat in the same spot for months. Wouldn’t connect to network even after configuration

3 stars due to speaker quality. I have all levels of the Echo devices which some sound great. This device is more of a device to give Alexa commands. I wouldn’t recommend for listening to music loud.

Have an echo show that works flawlessly with all my tech but this device just didn't want to connect to my tv the same way, Returning for another echo show instead.

Considering that its the newer gen speakers, the sound quality seems worse than its previous generations. I'd definitely recommend the the 3rd gens especially since they half the price of this.

It works well but does not connect to Apple Music iTunes so that you can request songs from your playlist. It repeats that you need to set up an account when your account is currently open

My grandma still has not figured this thing out and lives across the country so I cant do it for her so Im giving three stars for ease of use.

It does not hear my voice properly. Takes me 3,4 times to call "Alexa" and then hear a response! I had dot (3rd Gen) before this and that was great! this one is a disappointment!

It does the work, but sound quality is awful, I have the 3rd generation and it sounds better than this one, not great but better
