Only lasted a few months would not recommend at all

Fun device to have and an awesome invention. I expected these devices to be more expensive, but they're not. I like that Alexa can tell you phone numbers and locations (addresses) of places and people... she can get information straight from my contacts on my cell phone contact list... all I had to do was give her permission to access my contact list during set up. I also like that I was able to add a second assistant voice (Samuel L. Jackson)... for a small one time fee of $4.99+ applicable tax. Alexa tells stories, jokes, and historical facts. She also has a whisper ability which can be enabled in the Alexa App. I am very happy to have Alexa. When I am home alone, with Alexa,I feel like there is always a companion here with me. She can read my E-Books to me too. She gets them from my Audible.com E-Books. I can even make phone calls through my Alexa device without even picking up the phone. She can time workouts and set a timer for baking or other cooking instead of me having to use an egg timer or the microwave. Lots of things Alexa can do. A very handy device to have around. I bought this device from a Best Buy store. Love it... Alexa is awesome... and Samuel is too ! I have been told to be careful what I say around Alexa as she records everything that is said. I still Love my Alexa !!

I bought two Echo Dots, one for my daughter and the other one for myself. I replaced the 3rd Gen Dot with the new 4th, and I love it. The voice quality is so much better and I was able to change the voice and slow down the speech, Now I able to understand everything that Alexa says.

It's annoying that 4th gen Echo is more expensive than 5th gen, but it was worth the extra money to be able to cable it to a receiver and play through the stereo system speakers. I got this for a friend, who is very much enjoying the convenience of voice activated, and the range of music available. It was impossible to set up the free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited as part of a gift though.

This is such a fun little device! Great for listening to music & podcasts and getting my local news. I also use the alarm feature & get updates on my Amazon deliveries. Set up was actually simple! Highly recommend

It's a cool piece of technology, don't get me wrong, it's impressive that the AI can pick up my voice even when playing loud music, and if you have Philips hue lights or razer stuff that works with it, I'm sure it's great. However, there isn't much that this does that my google assistant can't already do, if anything, it's almost more limited. My first complaint is with the alarm, you can only use preselected sounds, and there is no way to upload your own, on my phone, I can have it play Spotify playlists and such for an alarm, which when the echo has integration with Spotify, it makes no sense why it can't do that as well. Additionally, the speaker is okay, it's a bit more heavy on the treble end, which thought that's good for making the voice assistant easier to hear, it also makes music sound a lot more faded or washed out. Overall, this has just been used for me to make stupid jokes on discord calls and nothing else.

Beautiful talking ball! It loooks amazing on the nesting table. Its like a stand alone sculpture until you say the wake word! It then comes to life!

My kids love them. I Ordered 4 of them for my grandchildren and my son. They started using them right away. They were a big hit on Christmas morning.

Love our Alexa! She is just the best. We love to listen to music with it and set daily reminders that are positive affirmations!

I failed to get this connected ,,,too complicated.....I thought it would be easy to connect to 24'' Insignia Fire TV....don't know where to find application....so put it on my phone,,,,but I 'm getting"no internet connection" to new TV, Nov. 2021.

get the glacier white version I know this one is cheaper buy a dollar less but the glacier white does more if this one had it I would of got this version but o well I didn't mind paying extra for clock on display I don't recommend this version

Great father's day gift. He loves it! He is in his 80's and it is easy for him to use.

I already have Alexa products, so my kids wanted one for their rooms. Love it!
