Poor frequency response from only one tiny speaker that is only 1.6 inches in diameter. The Amazon description and specifications here state this has speakers and that is NOT correct. There is only one! The printed instructions are the absolute minimum and the only 90 day warranty is too. It is pathetic! The only power supply is 12 volts DC from the included AC adapter and it is not UL rated! It should be improved use a USB mini cable for power like most mini speakers sold today. The instructions also incorrectly descibe the audion jack as an output. It is mot and is really an audio input jack.

I ordered 2 Alexa for pick up at the Rego Park store. I recieved an email saying my order is ready for pick up, so I went to the store the sales person is walking back and forth looking for something or someone that went on for like 15 mins or so. Then a store supervisor or manager came up to me and told me that only 1 of my order is available and the other one is not because of a system glitch. I’m like why you did not told me I could have just went here when both of my orders are here and the manager is like not my problem it’s the system and he did not offer to help he was like so you wanna cancel it? He was not sorry for what happen I know it was not his fault but atleast apologize/ emphatize for the inconvenience. And offer to do something for the customer for wasting their time of coming to the store to pick up their non existent order.

I bought one of these for my Mother. As she was an early adopter and avid reader with her Kindle which is a great product btw. Unfortunately, maybe Amazon should of stuck with books... It's not responsive and gets most (I'm being generous here) things wrong. Maybe our lexicon is abnormal but other devices handle it with ease. The AI is just not up to snuff to even my old school cheaper Gen1 Google Mini. But I wanted to let her remain in the ecosystem of her choosing. As I said she's a smart lady and asked for a Google Mini when I have the time. Anyway what a waste of $$$! I tried Amazon does a few things well like AWS but this speaker isn't one of them. Nor is treating their employees fairly from what I've read sadly.

The sounds is terrible. Very disappointed, my wife got the same one but with a clock and that one sounds good. It’s the same thing/4 generation Alexa.

It was free, but not something I would pay for. I don't see the value or need for this.
