I love how the alexa displays the time it big bright numbers!

THIS IS MY 5TH ECHO DOT. THIS ONE HAS THE CLOCK WHICH IS VERY CONVENIENT. I PLAY THEM EVERY DAY, SOMETIMES WITH PRIME MUSIC, OR SIRIUS XM, OR APPLE PLAY. YOU CAN EITHER HAVE ONE ECHO PLAY OR I CAN HAVE ALL 5 PLAY THRU OUT THE HOUSE, EVEN OUTSIDE IN MY YARD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM 100%.

The Echo Dot is fun to use and it provides nice addition for sound and control using the larger Echo device. The setup is straightforward using the instructions. Paired with our Amazon Account it can notify us about our Amazon purchases including up to the minute delivery notifications.

Such an upgrade from the 3rd generation. I can finally see the time on the echo dot! It works so well and never lets me down. I enjoy the nice bass sound affects that are different from the 3rd generation as well. I will say it is a bit on the pricy side for an Amazon echo dot (they’re usually cheaper), but still 5 stars from me!

Great sound, looks very sleek and the display is amazing

I purchased two of these to achieve true stereo. The updated spherical design is a great update to the column design. Although the speakers are physically small they are relatively heavy. The sound quality is superb and the volume is more than adequate. Set up was easy using the app. These are great addition to my family room.

I love my echo ball and don't know what I would do without it!

Easy to use, excellent sound, alarm clock works great

First time owning an Echo dot so I can't compare it to other versions. But I like the quality of sound it produces. You can adjust the volume based on your preferences. The display clock definitely enhances the look of the speaker. The Alexa app was also easy to setup. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

The echo dot with clock is a fantastic piece of equipment, especially if you are integrated in the Amazon ecosystem. You can tell it to set your time, play music, or any of the hundreds of "skills" as they're called. In the Alexa app, you can set up multi room speakers, allowing you to play any song on Amazon music across all the speakers simultaneously. If they would allow for rebroadcastong from a Bluetooth device to all devices in the Alexa home network that would really be a game changer, buy for obvious reasons they want you to stay withing the Amazon ecosystem. The clock is a nice feature that allows you to check the time quickly I'm whatever room it's in. Not a big deal, but it is worth the extra 10 dollars in my opinion. The device also can integrate with Ring to act as a chime and let you know when someone is at your door. Overall, I would say buy it, just make sure that you are comfortable with the Amazon ecosystem before buying this device, otherwise most of its features will go to waste.

Pros: I love the look. The clock is clearly visible even in the daytime, the speaker has a decent volume, and the LED light at the bottom is a nice touch. Cons: I feel if I have to power cycle the device more often than I should. Sometimes it'll lose the connection and Alexa won't respond. Overall it's a decent device and the perfect alarm clock, I have it connected to my smart light bulbs as well which is nice when you don't want to get out of bed to turn them off or on.

I replaced a non-smart clock radio with this item. It has been great. Good fidelity and light-sensitive display. It even displays outside temperature when asked. It’s also a great countdown timer with display. This would also be great in a kitchen where you wish to know how much tone is left on a cooking time.

I purchased the item as the regular one was out of stock, but the Digital display in front of the echo is very useful as it shows the clock as well as the Temperature and up[coming alarm symbol and I am missing this feature in other echo devices throughout my house.

Given as a gift- along with Sengled bulbs to help my sister get her place up and running as a smart home. I use both Google & Alexa in my home- but Alexa wins hands down in terms of ease of use. I’m pretty much entirely an Apple device user- but their Home Kit system- while VERY good, is far more $$$ to buy into. And, not as many inexpensive options for 3rd party vendors. My sister was thrilled with her gift and even more excited when she completed the setup successfully. Well worth the price. In terms of use as a speaker- it’ll do in a pinch if you’re not an audiophile. Decent enough sound for a small space- as long as you don’t raise the volume too much.

Affordable price Durable Easy to setup Color choices

This was my first Echo device. I liked it so much that I bought an Echo Show 8 about 1 week later for the other side of the house. I feel that the Dot sounds better than the Show 8, but of course the Show has other advantages. Both were very easy to connect up.

Purchased this dot mainly for the clock. I have a few other dots throughout the house and each one gets a little better, but each one still is used. Also, I learn a little more about the dots capabilities all the time. With all the Best buy credits and incentives it bought the price down quite a bit.
