Great for the bedroom. Replaced an alarm clock from the 1970s, an Echo dot, and a dumb light bulb. The clock automatically dims and turns out my light with a simple, "Alexa, good night." Alarms are easy to set and sometimes her jokes in the morning could be classified as a pun. The alarm clock has a pleasant sound. She will also give you soothing noise to go to sleep.

My friend thought it would be nice to bring me in to the 21 century. So he sent this to me. Easy to plug up and set up. I love that I can turn on lights if my hands are full and that I can ask it just about any question in the world. I am going to be adding another to a couple of rooms so that I can stream music.

I love my Echo Dot. I put it in my kitchen and it gives me recipes, does math and plays my favorite podcasrs while I cook. I can also can enjoy music if I like. All hands free! I had a little trouble setting it up, but took a breath and started over and it was fine. I have really enjoyed this little thing!

This is a really great product, i don,t know much about all this high tec stuff, but i really like this thing. The sound is great for such a small ball,and it really does listen to you when you tell it to turn on your music ,and it will even turn up and down the volume when you tell it to. Even i don,t do that when my wife tells me to turn down my music. It,s a great thing!!

I recommend this for most Alexa users. I say most because if you are like me and wake up before your wife/husband/partner and want to cancel the alarm, its not as easy as reaching over and hitting cancel button. You have to either ask Alexa by voice or open the app on your phone to cancel the alarm. Most of the time I wake up before the alarm sounds and out of courtesy I cancel the alarm so as not to wake my wife. Asking Alexa is counterproductive in my case and opening the app to cancel is annoying. Too bad in my case because otherwise its cool little speaker that is cheap when on sale.

My has mentioned the Echo dot 4th gen. For some time. Little did she k ow I had already purchased it and was under the tree. She absolutely love it!! We have an echo dot down stair but she always wanted one in our room and now we do. I enjoy listening to babbling brook at night while we sleep. It also helps the dogs sleep better because the don’t hear outside noise as much either.
