works but sound still inferior sound

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works well. using to turn lights off and on by voice. like the fact bluetooth can be used; wifi is also an option. bulbs have to be bluetooth if you go that route. the time is nice and bulbs can be named whatever you want. not fond of the sound. tried the echo dot (hockey puck?) first and it was pathetic soundwise. this is better but i wish i had bought the larger black ball shaped one instead. this one can turn volume up/down, clock display brightness up/down and will read books to you with variable speed.

Upgrade over 3rd gen uncertain

However I can't say I hear a definitively better sound than the Echo Dot 3rd gen, would probably stick with that version.
