the best echo dot every from amazon, i love the blue color

I purchased the item as the regular one was out of stock, but the Digital display in front of the echo is very useful as it shows the clock as well as the Temperature and up[coming alarm symbol and I am missing this feature in other echo devices throughout my house.

Purchased this dot mainly for the clock. I have a few other dots throughout the house and each one gets a little better, but each one still is used. Also, I learn a little more about the dots capabilities all the time. With all the Best buy credits and incentives it bought the price down quite a bit.

This was my first Echo device. I liked it so much that I bought an Echo Show 8 about 1 week later for the other side of the house. I feel that the Dot sounds better than the Show 8, but of course the Show has other advantages. Both were very easy to connect up.

Given as a gift- along with Sengled bulbs to help my sister get her place up and running as a smart home. I use both Google & Alexa in my home- but Alexa wins hands down in terms of ease of use. I’m pretty much entirely an Apple device user- but their Home Kit system- while VERY good, is far more $$$ to buy into. And, not as many inexpensive options for 3rd party vendors. My sister was thrilled with her gift and even more excited when she completed the setup successfully. Well worth the price. In terms of use as a speaker- it’ll do in a pinch if you’re not an audiophile. Decent enough sound for a small space- as long as you don’t raise the volume too much.

Pros: I love the look. The clock is clearly visible even in the daytime, the speaker has a decent volume, and the LED light at the bottom is a nice touch. Cons: I feel if I have to power cycle the device more often than I should. Sometimes it'll lose the connection and Alexa won't respond. Overall it's a decent device and the perfect alarm clock, I have it connected to my smart light bulbs as well which is nice when you don't want to get out of bed to turn them off or on.

Love it! I will buy another one again just because is a good size, doesn’t take up to much space, very good quality, perfect color and its amazing! Totally recommend if you need reminders or alarms to wake up! Can play music and radio stations! Love it!

Comes in handy when you have quick & simple questions, the speaker quality is great for its size. In i love the feauture of it having a clock i love to not always have to look at my phone. I highly recommend on buying if your in the market for a smart home device.

If your in the market for a new Echo Dot I would recommend this one especially with a clock. I like that it has the clock feature and that it's not a disc shape anymore. I think Amazon has put in a good speaker for how small it is. If it's on sale I would grab up another one.

My kids love their Alexa. Each one has in their room and is great for many things. It plays music for them to sleep it’ll send me text with just asking it. It also displays the time. I’d like the time bigger but its good enough for those with good eyesight.

I found this little guy to have all the necessary features to be a great asset. I use it in my home office to play music. let me know what time it is and give me weather updates. Plus I can check in on the kids because they each have an Echo in their rooms.

I love the echo. It was easy to setup. I like being able to play music, set alarms, etc. This is the 4th echo I’ve bought. I have one in each of my kids rooms. I love being able to “drop in” to talk to them or call them for dinner.

I am a fan of the Alexa products. When I saw the sleek blue sphere design I thought it would go well with my decor. The digital clock was a bonus and can be seen at night or when the lights are off. It’s a home run for me.

Brought this for my office because it was so quiet working in there by myself and it has the time displayed on it which is great so I didn’t have to buy a big clock! Plays very loud and didn’t have any issues hooking it up with my phone

Love my new echo dot. Still learning all I can do but way easy and love the music playing on this. The sound is awesome. You'll be surprised how great it sounds for such a little device.

Bought this to replace my regular alarm clock. Great clear and crisp sound for music not muffled like my 3rd gen. Echo dot. Love the alarm clock feature. To snooze just place your hand over the top and it snoozes. Great investment. Highly recommend.

This was a replacement for an Echo Dot that malfunctioned Best Buy lived up to my expectation by their continued good will and help with my problem. I would always trust Best Buy to stand behind their products, and will continue to recommend them to anyone wanting good service.

I got this as a gift for my dad who has continuously raved about his first Alexa I got him several years ago, he LOVES the clock and updated look and feel of the new Alexa. Recommend for yourself or a family member/friend.
