Posted .Hello, ShivaniP. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Echo Dot. I want to share some recommendations if the device isn't responding at times:
1. Check that your device isn't muted. The light indicator is red when your device is muted.
2. To make sure that Alexa hears you, move your device away from walls, other speakers, or background noise.
3. Speak naturally and clearly.
4. Try saying, "Alexa, Did you hear me?"
5. Unplug your device and then plug it back in.

I have had it for quite some time and use it almost on a daily basis. I love the fact that you can make your Amazon account to it and play music at any time as well as asking for weather conditions, etc..

No need to talk about what Alexa can do, there are a ton of YouTube videos for that. I have it paired with a larger Echo on the opposite side of the room. The sound is great.

There is a definite sound difference between the 2. These sound much better. They are still not a loudspeaker, but they don't need to be cranked if you link speakers together throughout your home.

Answers questions, baby sits the dogs, sings; tells jokes and so much more! I bought two to start, know now I need at least two more. They link together for music throughout the house!
