I did fallowed the instructions but no luck and that was the only reason for me to buy the dot.

I prefer the smaller form factors. This one doesnt hear my command very well and i have to practically yell at the think. Half the time it give the wrong command even though i spoke clearly.

Make sure you have an active internet connection. Check that your device isn't muted. The light indicator is red when your device is muted. Press the Action button to see if your Echo device responds. To make sure that Alexa hears you, move your device away from walls, other speakers, or background noise. Speak naturally and clearly. Rephrase your question or make it more specific. For example, there are many cities around the world called "Paris." If you want to know the weather in Paris, France, say, "What's the weather like in Paris, France?" Try saying, "Did you hear me?" Unplug your device and then plug it back in. I hope these steps help fix the issues you are running into. If they don't, reach out to Amazon customer service at 1-888-280-4331 for further assistance. Thank you and have a great day!

This one will not follow simple routines. Actually refused to follow command on how to respond to a household member. Said it was too military!!! OMG!!
