I bought this for my kitchen. Its very handy in the kitchen! I check the weather, get weather updates, play music, talk to my daughter & grandaughters on theirs too. The only thing it started doing is calling me by my daughter's name one day. Not a big deal, but I can't seem to change it.

Simple and easy to install if you have other Amazon/Alexa products that are not too old. Older products may have some challenges.

Works great! Enjoy being able to listen to music on demand!

Had the original echo and this was a big upgrade compared to the old one. Definitely like it and the new design

Im in love with my speacker its so convenient if I don’t want to get up from bed to turn on off the light it would do it for me quality of the speacker its good and volume too

It's a fun toy to play with. Did not know Alexa will be that much fun... If you buy it and also have an Alexa-capable fire tv, turn on the Tv and ask Alexa, "Where are you right now?"

This is the fourth unit that we have purchased for various rooms while doing chores in our two homes. Easy to set up. Very responsive to voice commands. Adequate volume and tone quality. Constantly learning more commands for it.

I have several Echoes and bought this one as a Christmas gift. My friends absolutely love it, and now are planning to purchase another.

I love how I can connect them with my echo show and now I can play music throughout the whole house and the sound quality is great for this price point.

This was an office grab bag purchase and my coworker loves it! She uses it at home and at the workplace. I’m quite impressed on how easily well acquainted she got with the item in terms of command and functionality (English is not her first language).

The Amazon - Echo Dot (5th Gen., 2022 Release) is a pleasant improvement over the second-generation dot that we have. For a small speaker, the sound is wonderful, and the setup was easy using up-dated versions of the Alexa app. The 2nd-gen dot was moved to a basement office while the new 5th-gen dot replaced the other one in our living room. Although our 2 dots cannot be linked for stereo, they can still be used to relay messages from one part of the house to another, play music throughout the house, and be used independently from each other.
