love it.needed one asap..good for my daily base life.

I bought this as a gift to my mom for Mother’s Day and she absolutely loves it ! It’s super easy to set up and easy / to use ! It has so many features from streaming your favorite artist to answering questions about basic mathematical questions, or even letting you know about the weather in your area ! Soooo many cool things Alexa is even bilingual which is why my mom loves it because of its voice recognition feature which connects your name to your voice so Alexa will always know who in your household is addressing her ! 10/10 purchase absolutely NO regrets !

I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is impressive, making it perfect for streaming music. The voice recognition is incredibly accurate, and I love how I can control my smart home devices with simple voice commands. Alexa's skills continue to amaze me, from providing weather updates to answering trivia questions. The design is sleek and fits well in any room. Overall, the Amazon Echo is a fantastic addition to my home, making my life more convenient and enjoyable

Setup Is Cumbersome: Getting both units set up was more difficult than I expected. The Alexa app was not always intuitive, and going through Wi-Fi configuration, linking accounts, and getting routines going felt more time-consuming than it should be. Learning Commands Is a Challenge: Even after setup, teaching Alexa to understand my commands was a bit tricky. I found myself repeating phrasing, and sometimes the responses weren’t quite what I intended. This made using it less seamless than I hoped. Connectivity & Command Recognition Issues: There are known concerns with 5th-gen Dots missing voice commands or not always responding reliably. Some users on forums report that their devices don’t always pick up the wake word, or that connectivity drops. No 3.5mm Audio Jack: One major downside is that this version lacks a physical audio-out jack, so you can’t easily connect it via cable to external speakers. Sound Limitations at High Volume: While the sound is solid at low-to-medium volume, pushing it higher can lead to distortion, especially for bass-heavy content.

The setup was easy since I already have other echos in the house. My other echos resemble hockey pucks so I wasn’t too sure about the new ball shape. However, this one is perfectly shaped for the tap/hover feature where you can tap the top or cover with your palm to pause the sound. I think there is also a better sound quality to this Echo as opposed to me older ones. All in all I’m pleased with my purchase.

I love the speaker. I can turn off my TV. My lights play the radio. Lovely device.

The Echo Dot has so many convenient features. Want music for motivation, “Hey Alexa”. Need to reorder household supplies, “Hey Alexa”. Add an appointment to your calendar, “Hey Alexa”. Looking for a recipe for supper, “Hey Alexa”. So, so many features available with Alexa and the Echo Dot’s compact design fits in nicely and has a bold sound when playing music. ❤️❤️Alexa!!

Got this for my 70yo MIL and she loves it. So easy to use and it learns your voice and habits. So the more you use it the better it gets.

This Echo Dot works very well. It is easy to set up using the Alexa app and picks up the wifi signal very well. I replaced a 1st generation Amazon Echo with this because it wouldn't pick up the new signal. This Echo Dot has very good sound for a small speaker and is a lot easier to control.

Excellent product. Great update from previous echo dot. Love the option for different voices. It connected very easily to all my other devices. Its great for everything, asking questions, getting the time, finding recipes, setting alarms, really just a lovely personal assistant voice, right in your room.

These little smart speakers are amazing. The sound quality is impressive given its small footprint. We have these smart speakers in almost every room in the house whether the original cylinder type or the echo and echo dot. They great to use as an intercom or to place calls which is handy since my wife is handicapped with limited mobility. I know that she can always reach me if she has a problem. This echo dot was an upgrade from the previous version which can now tell you the temperature of the room that it is placed in. For the price, especially when they are on sale you can't go wrong.

We connected our Echo Dot to some Govee Light Bulbs and I love the convenience of entering rooms by talking to Alexa. Easy to setup and great sound quality!

Excellent product, very good and above all easy and practical to install

This smart speaker has been a very nice addition to my home. The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, with clear voices and enough bass for music, podcasts, and radio.
