It has been working great! We had originally bought the pop but had trouble with the wake up alarms, so we returned it.

Wish she was smarter but that will come in time. Unfortunately I am not a techie and need the Geek Squad to set up for me. After all I am a total tech person. That is where you run into trouble as even the Geek Squad has problems programming Alexa. I guess in time it will all get better but the Geek Squad needs to be better in set up and working knowledge

Turns on all the lights when i get home and turns off my tv when I’m asleep. Simple requests and simple results. Only complaint is sound quality when music is being played is ok at best. Not a full sound.

Posted .Hello Buschkebaby! Thank you so much for taking time to provide feedback on your experience with your Echo Dots! I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying your speakers! To your point about wishing you could use these as satellite speakers for your TV, there is in fact a way but only if you use them with a compatible Fire TV, Stick, or Cube streaming platform. You can set these up as Alexa Home Theater which pairs them together and plays anything you use through your Fire TV platform through them in stereo surround sound! In fact, with select TVs or Cubes, you can even use additional peripherals such as video game consoles the same way by using the HDMI Arc port on your TV and/or HDMI In port on a Fire Cube. You can set this up by navigating on your Fire TV streaming device or TV to Settings>Display and Sound>Alexa Home Theater. This will allow you to use Alexa to control numerous aspects on your TV by voice and to control the volume of the Dots with your Alexa Voice Remote. I hope these tips give you a chance to experience Alexa Home Theater with your Dots and continues to enhance even further the number of ways you continue to enjoy your Echo Dots.
