It does not have the clock and it needs to be plugged in for operation. The sound is really good for such a small unit. I really like its ability to go to whichever radio station that I might want to listen to. it also allows me to ask it to play a Casting Crowns or the Eagles or any group that you would like to listen to. Overall very good purchase.

My big complaint is that the black color still comes with a white power cord. This is a big oversight for a device that’s supposed to exist in plain sight. It’s also not a standard USB cable like previous models so sourcing a black cable is difficult.
