Smart switches and lights easy to connect, but novelty of a smart home quickly wore off. My one experience with Amazon tech “support” was horrible and I ended up figuring out how to solve the problem myself. Sound quality is a dud. And no, Alexa, I don’t want to subscribe to Amazon music so please stop asking.

Nice remote speaker with Alexa. Going to return since I want the bigger Echo cause of the sound quality.

I know that the technology will improve over time but it isnt quite at the level id like it to be. Still cool tho

Speakers sound a little better than previous version. Also like that it has a temperature sensor, so I can ask Alexa what is the temperature in the room. Sensor seems fairly accurate, although it tends to report slightly higher values than standalone sensors I use in same room).

It works very well, I haven't had any problems and I've been using it for several months now, I recommend it

The Echo device has a rich sound and Alexa is remarkably smart. The added bonus of a free trial of Amazon Music was impossible to activate despite calls to both Best Buy and Amazon.

Good quolity for the good price. I bought this one to control the lights, and it’s doing the job. I bought it on BF, and it was in a boundel with a smart bulb. It was a great deal!

Purchased about a month ago, has lost internet connection several times. Had to restart.

Loud w/ base but the voice recognition is not very good

My alexa is in the center of my home. She is there when needed. Music, jokes, weather and so much more.

Great sound, great value. Easy to setup, easy to use

I bought two generation 5's. One worked perfectly. The other sporadically. It would unpair itself and I would have to initiate a startup again. I am hoping it's an anomaly and will correct itself eventually. Here's hoping.

Love these Echos.....got first one as a gift a few years ago, thought it was a gimmicky toy and didn't connect if for awhile. When I finally did, and realized all the cool things it could do I went out and got six more , one for every room and the garage. Great for setting alarms, timers and reminders, playing selected music, answering questions and a ton of other cool things. Don't know how they do it, but they do it well. This last one was bought as a gift.
