She had never heard of anything like this before and loves it. She likes asking Alexa questions or have her play music for her. It was a great gift. Very easy to set up. Must have internet access.

Echo Dot (5th Gen. 2022 release)

She offers helpful morning reminders. She likes to send me to bed at 9:00 pm. Haven’t yet figured out how to change that. It’s okay, gets be thinking about winding down my day!

You can edit or change reminders and routines in the Alexa app under settings for the Echo Dot on your mobile device or tablet where you have the Alexa app downloaded.

Alexa is perfect for them as she assist them with spelling and all sorts of things inquiring minds want to know..I especially love how interactive she is with set up routines . exercising, deep breathe routines, waking me up in the morning, planning schedules..she's the perfect assistant for the entire family.. turning off the lights , turning them on..I'm just fascinated with all of Alexa's programmed abilities..

Upgrade from echo dot 2

But I need something louder and believe me this one is louder with a little more bass and is taller and perhaps slightly wider. Voice recognition is better. In Music is better than my previous one,I use it primarily to listen to podcasts. In sale is a must have!
