My son talked me into buying this product and although I was apprehensive, I love it. My son hooked this echo dot up to my light switch and my fan, and all I have to say without getting out of bed in the middle of the night is "Alexa turn the fan on or turn the light off" It is great.

Small but powerful speakers with top quality sound, and good interactivity with Alexa.

Now she can do her chores while listening to music and ask questions about almost everything

Love this speaker. Its much louder and has a nicer base then the smaller amazon Dots that they sell. much faster then the older model. If only Alexa was a bit smarter we would be right in star trek.

Echo Dot 5th Generation is a really good device to have. I can ask Alexa just about anything especially the weather forecast.

Well it's an Alexa so expect it to do what an Alexa would do. I personally use it to play music and set alarms and tell me the weather in the morning. It comes in handy to have one so I would recommend. My only downside about it is that when I play songs it's very bass heavy so if you have it in one room you can feel/ hear the bass in neighboring rooms. But for the price I can't complain its truly worth the money.

I have/had the echo dot, (the hockey puck one) for years.... Where I'm not complaining at all about the one I had, I LOVE this one. The sound is astronomical. I live in a 36ftvCoach RV. Please keep in mind that you will not get the same results in mansions. Perhaps with speakers attached...

On sale, you can't beat what you get. Alexa and Amazon offer the best home experience, hands down. You can't compete with the comparability they have with almost everything. There isn't a Google vs. Apple feel to it, and it just always works.

Nice idea and blends into room well. Works as all echo devices do and quickly integrated into room. Looks like no fun to keep clean due to its textured body. So far, so good

Ease of use. Very helpful with Amazon orders, deliveries and Reminders. The alarms are great along with time/temp information. Love how I can control from phone and the sleep programs kick butt!!! Definitely worth the price. We have two and I intend on putting in more areas of the house.
