    bought as a replacement for a 1st gen one that died. setup ws easy, it detected my network, the smartphone app detected the new echo...boom all worked

    Need a lough? Ask Alexa for a joke. Alexa not only knows today's temp but also the local forecast. How do you say Thank You in Dutch? Dank yeh vell! Turns on lights in our cellar where the switch was on the other side of the room. Just say Alexa (please) turn on the cellar lights. She even compliments you on your kind manners and thoughtfulness. LOL

    I have been wanting the echo for awhile now and so far I and loving it! The only weird thing is if you have multiple users on Spotify, you have to be careful who is connected to it.
