The other sporadically. It would unpair itself and I would have to initiate a startup again. I am hoping it's an anomaly and will correct itself eventually. Here's hoping.

Posted .Hi MissMolly, thank you for providing feedback on your experience with the Echo Dot. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our devices and so this information is very helpful. I do want to share some information regarding privacy. You have the ability to mute the device by pressing the button with a circle and a line through it. The button will turn red when muted. Saying 'Alexa' will not unmute the device and you'll have to press it again to unmute and use Alexa as normal. Hopefully this information is helpful for the future. This one will not follow simple routines. Actually refused to follow command on how to respond to a household member. Said it was too military!!! OMG!!

Such a tedious setup. You have to be standing next to your router to install this thing. Just buy a speaker, this thing is pointless in my opinion.
