Quality sound is upgraded from previous model and voice control is improved where I feel i dont have to yell Alexa to get her attention.

Posted .Hello, TanadetI. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Echo Dot. I have a few recommendations to try and fix the issue:
1. Proceed first with a restart of your Wi-Fi router by unplugging the power supply and waiting at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in.
2. Unplug the Echo Dot from its power source, wait 20 seconds, and then plug the device back in.
3. Check that the device is fully updated on software by going into the Alexa app.
4. Ensure that you don't have the device muted, which you can tell by the Mute button illuminating red on top of the device.

The 5th generation model has improved speaker quality from the previous model, to help deliver clearer vocals and deeper bass for rich vibrant sound. You can ask Alexa to play music, podcasts, and audiobooks and enjoy a dynamic audio experience anywhere in your home. You can also adjust sound settings via the Alexa App if you are wanting more crisp vocals or bass specifically!
