Posted .Hello Velavan! I am so sorry to hear that your Echo Dot is getting stuck. It may be requiring an update to help prevent bugs like this from occurring. You can check this by saying "Alexa, check for updates." If this does not fix the issue, then you can factory reset the device and reset it back up. You can do this by pressing and holding the Action button and Volume Down button simultaneously for 30 seconds or more until the yellow light begins flashing. It will take roughly a minute or two to come back up after factory reset. Once this is done, you can follow the setup instructions in your Alexa smartphone app to set it back up. If this doesn't help, then I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 for further troubleshooting. I like how they work and allow me to control the lights withing my house. Nice at night to control my bedroom without having to leave the bed. I have not set it up but I am going to setup my Espresso maker to to a smart plug so I can turn it on to heat while I get ready to go down stairs.
