I like it! It has much improved sound quality over the previous models I've owned. The setup took only a few minutes. I've got it running with my Home Assistant Instance.

I brought it for my sister birthday and she loves it she gets up every morning and say hay Alexa play my music ask questions all the time … just know she loves the item

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and recommend it to those looking for an easy-to-use voice assistant with good sound quality. However, it's important to keep in mind the limitations and consider whether it's the right product for your needs.

I have both Echo Dot and Google. homrm Both are good at looking up info, telling you the time, or playing a game. But this Echo Dot wins for two reasons. I the the sound is better and it was much easier to set up. The downside is the notifications Alexa tells me about which are nothing but Amazon ads for stuff it thinks I want. That's really annoying!

This was a replacement for two that we had and died. Upon setup, it would only "listen" when I tapped the alert button on top. It picked up some of the settings from the earlier versions. Then it started working about a week later as I was planning on returning it. Now it keeps defaulting back to the low volume of 3 where it is barely audible. Since it's so close after Christmas, I may be able to return it. I would only recommend the Echo under very guarded circumstances and warn to keep the receipt.

Price is very reasonable and the sound is fantastic. Easy to instal but if you need help, the geek squad is available.

I've been a die-hard Google Home fan, but recently my Google's speaker has been sounding pretty iffy. SovI decided to switch teams and got 3 Echo Dots, one in each color. I'm impressed with the sound, even as compared to my non-broken Google drvices. They respond quickly and accurately, but I'm annoyed with the "notifications" of things Alexa thinks I should buy.

Amazing product! The same great alexa with all the features I need and for a great price. Thanks to being a Best Buy Total Member I even got it at a discount! I was able to cop it for about $30 and it syncs so well woth my Govee Lights!

The AMAZON ECHO DOT "Alexa" SMART SPEAKER is somewhat better than the Google Home Mini Speaker in sound quality and in responses given. I tested three of each brand placed throughout my house for 6 months, and I prefer the AMAZON ECHO DOT "Alexa" speaker for SOUND QUALITY and for it's emergency calling feature which not only CALLS the designated person but also sends them a TEXT MESSAGE which the Google Speaker does not do.
