Way better than the Show 5 it replaced, which was great for the screen but completely useless otherwise. I had to yell right into it for anything to happen. The Dot works from almost any room in the house and always does what's asked. I have six ceiling fans, six lamps, a door lock, Ring security, and a few smart outlets. It controls it all with zero effort.
