Restart your Echo Dot: Unplug the device for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and allow it to fully reboot.
Check your Wi-Fi connection: Ensure your Echo Dot has a strong, stable connection to your Wi-Fi network. You can check this in the Alexa app under Devices > Echo & Alexa > [Your Echo Dot] > Wi-Fi Network.
Update software: Make sure your device is running the latest software version, which can be checked in the Alexa app.

We bought these last 3 from Best Buys ($22 each + tax ) because we were able to purchase a 4 year warranty from Best Buys. Direct from Amazon the warranty would have only been 2 or 3 years.
