I’ve been using the Echo Dot for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed with how much it does for its size. The sound quality is way better than I expected—clear vocals and surprisingly good bass for such a small speaker. It’s perfect for podcasts, background music, or setting the mood in the room.

I needed to add a new dot to a new room and this was great. It still gives me everything I need, plus I love the round design. It was easy to order online from my mobile app and the delivery was fast.

I love my new Echo Dot 5th Gen—it’s amazing how much sound comes out of such a small device. Setup was a breeze, and now I use it daily to play music, control my lights, check the weather, and more. The motion/temperature sensors let me create smart routines—super handy! It’s noticeably better than previous Dots, with richer bass and clearer speech, though if you’re an audiophile, you’ll hear some mild distortion at max volume. Also, it's more like a bedroom speaker—not a party device. The lack of a headphone jack and constant-plug power are minor trade-offs. Overall, a fantastic, well-rounded smart speaker—5 stars from me!

I love my gift! I like the white, its matches everything, its small it’s not in the way of anything and it works great! Some apps you have to buy but the ones in replace of it it just as great!

I bought this for my 72-year-old stepmom, who has vision issues. At first, she only used it to tell time. Slowly, we got her to realize she could play music and make phone calls, too. It was fairly easy to set up, although she was resistant to using the app on her phone. I got white so it would contrast and she could see it more easily.

I purchased this for my elder mom. After having my own for years, I knew she liked it from using it at my house as well as my sisters, but never had her own. The echo dot is great because it gives her a hands free opportunity to take care of things. She can also connect it to a few other smart devices in her house. Overall I think it was a great purchase for her and will be extremely handy.
