I bought this for my kitchen. Its very handy in the kitchen! I check the weather, get weather updates, play music, talk to my daughter & grandaughters on theirs too. The only thing it started doing is calling me by my daughter's name one day. Not a big deal, but I can't seem to change it.

This is my third amazon echo device. Its so easy to install and use, that anyone could do it. The quality of the sound is great, and the posibility of using it to make phone calls is a plus.

It's a fun toy to play with. Did not know Alexa will be that much fun... If you buy it and also have an Alexa-capable fire tv, turn on the Tv and ask Alexa, "Where are you right now?"

Super easy to use. Connective to Alexa home base was super easy. Bought this for my wife installed it with a smart thermostat. She no longer has to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the house temperature.

This new alexa is super cool and has very great design - goes perfect with my TV set up. Also to mentioned Bestbuy delivery, it was super quick and delivered on time to helped me to carry on my trip to India

This was a replacement for two that we had and died. Upon setup, it would only "listen" when I tapped the alert button on top. It picked up some of the settings from the earlier versions. Then it started working about a week later as I was planning on returning it. Now it keeps defaulting back to the low volume of 3 where it is barely audible. Since it's so close after Christmas, I may be able to return it. I would only recommend the Echo under very guarded circumstances and warn to keep the receipt.
