A wide range of functions for a speaker. This speaker has good sound quality for its size. The programmable options like play music . Stopping music when no movement is detected is also helpful. Voice activated commands usually gets understood very well and adding items to a shared shopping list is very useful. I like to asker how to spell certain words which I really like.

Incredibly simple to set up through the Alexa app. Sounds great in a very large room for its size.

I have 4 of the Echo Dot devices. They are in every room and hallway. I bought this one for my husband to stream his music while he is working in his shed. He can even stream on our two acre lot way in the back with and extended cord. I also bought 2 Echo Pop units because I liked their shape but they all do what we need done. Sometimes the new Alexa can get a little sassy! lol

Replaced what i think was an old hock puck version that died. This thing is easy to setup, understands me even when ive had a challenging day, and looks great with a small foot print. Wonderful updated unit.

This Amazon - Echo Dot can turn on and off the lights in my home. I use the WI-FI wall plugs which work great with this device. Also, you can ask it what the weather is going to be for the day and you can stream music to it from your I-Phone. You can also play trivia word games with this device! I highly reccomend this product!

Great sound. The highs and mids are so clear, even the bass is noticeable on this little speaker. Love it!!! Perfect for small or medium size rooms; not for large spaces. I got the Deep Sea Blue and it looks amazing. Bought it on sale, half the regular price. Recommended!
