Beautiful design, and it's got a clock so when the power cuts back on, I don't have to reset the time.

I have an Amazon Echo Dot 4th Generation with clock and decided to try the 5th Generarion with clock. The clock display on the 5th generation is bigger, brighter, and easier to see, but automatic brightness adjustment still dims the display in a dark room so it's comfortable to view. The sound quality on the 5th generation is a major upgrade from the 4th generation, offering deeper bass, clearer sound, and unbelievable detail! The microphones on the 5th generation also seem to be better than the ones on the 4th generation, as my 5th generation seems to have an easier time hearing me and interpreting voice commands than my 4th generation. Amazon also packed some fun little bonus features into the 5th generation with clock. For example, when you ask it to tell you a joke, it shows a little smiley face on the display. When you ask it for the weather/temperature, it shows you the temperature in numbers with a little cloud or sunshine next to the number to show you the current weather. These neat little features make the device even more of a joy to use, and the cloud blue color is beautiful. Much need upgrade from the dot. Sound is nice and love having the clock as well.

It started with needing an alarm clock and when I noticed how great the sound was I purchased another echo dot 5 without the clock and a sub bass and would do it all over again. The sound on one alone great but I saw the opportunity for a surround sound and I got the other two items. I honestly would go this route if I knew how well they worked instead of the transitional surround sound in my Living room.

We have other Echo devices which we use regularly, but I really like the idea of having the clock. This is more than I could have hoped. The clock's brightness adjusts based on room light so it's not so bright at night, but it's perfectly viewable at all times. In addition to the clock, it can also display other info (e.g., weather) and the sound quality is very good and much improved from the Echo Dot. This si a very good device.

Sound is great for the small size. Love that it shows song titles and time.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter for college. She loved how easy it was to set up and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Amazing . For as small as it is the speaker sounds pretty good. Very easy to connect. I love it!

Easy to connect and Alexa understands me when I speak like I’m talking to an actual person. She even understands my slang talk which Siri can never understand or hold a conversation. I’ll be adding several more to my network around the house, because I never realized just how much I actually use Alexa which is much easier than grabbing my phone to Google a question or anything basically.

Excellent device for a low cost option. The speaker quality is impressive for this price point. I use my echo dot for listening to music and setting alarms or reminders. It is very reliable and I haven’t had any issues in the past year that I’ve owned it. I would recommend.

Bought as a Christmas gift for our grandson, he is 8 years old, he loves it, uses as an alarm clock, plays music, very happy with it

This one is really handy if you are an Alexa house. Sounds good, looks good. The song titles scroll along the front when starting.
