If I say Alexa from the other room loudly is will possibly hear me which is great for my circumstances. It also has a mute button you can turn on which will stop it from responding when it’s name is called.

Amazing performance/quality from my new Echo dot!

The sound quality is great for a small to medium sized room. The only drawback is that it won't sink with a first generation Echo. I sure wish they were compatible, but I'm very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend this Echo dot!

Great Gift

The sound quality is good, but not great; but then again, it's not a Bose system so that's not a knock on it. The bulb works well in the kids' room and they have fun with the changing colors. This wasn't expensive, so it was a good buy.

Useful and fun with good sound

I figured out how to dim the clock and turn it off. Plays a very wide selection of music and gives news updates. Checking the weather before going out is useful. I need another for other rooms. I'm looking for a waterproof version for the bathroom to play music.

It’s also great for parents to give to their teens as something to interact with, but without a screen. Great for a small music speaker for the room, too! I’ve purchased two for my teens and they love them.
