I recently upgraded to this model of echo dot from the third generation and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed. I didn't think having the clock display on the device would make much of a difference but it really does ... When you set a timer, the clock counts down the time which is handy and if I play music - it displays the song title & artist.

This is my first smart speaker purchase. And I am impressed! I bought it primarily to have a combined clock and speaker in my bedroom. The Echo Dot is attractive, unobtrusive, and useful. I can control how bright the clock is, and Alexa provides current weather information when asked.

It's everything you ever wanted in an electronic device that listens to every word you say whether you're talking to them or not. I prefer British Alexa voice. With American Alexa you always get the feeling she thinks she's better than you, but with British Alexa there's no doubt where you stand. I like that kind of honesty out of my electronics.

The Echo Dot with Clock is amazing! I had the second generation Echo Dot and an alarm clock (for an alarm and to glance from bed and see what time it was.) This takes the place of both! I also think it's great that it with scroll the weather and song title information! Definitely recommend to any wanting to upgrade or just starting out on the Alexa platform!

Good sound.. clock display is easy to see.. not too bright for bedtime use.

Purchased two of these as a Christmas gift and we're told it was easy to hook-up to their wifi. The sound quality is great.but not great; but then again, The bulb works well in the kids' room and they have fun with the changing colors. This wasn't expensive, so it was a good buy.

Wish they still sold this model. Kept in my bathroom and used as a shower speaker worked good especially seeing the time brushing my teeth in the morning

This little device is about the size of a softball and is incredibly useful. I ask it basic things mostly and have it control smart home (smart lock, cameras, security, lights) and it performs exceptionally well. Gone sre the days where Alexa can only answer basic questions. She can understand pretty complex tasks and initiates flawlessly.
