If you have two of these, you can basically use them as an intercom system, which is also good in a two story house. But it can easily mishear what you say or ask, and that can be annoying (or hilarious).

The dot responds as needed from weather, to music to connections to other Alexa controlled devices.

I literally had to yell at it! Got this one since I needed a clock. Much better sound, responsive, acts like a Dot should.
