One of the best benefits of having an online device such as this and a recent generation of it is that you will receive software updates that we roll out with as many compatible features and updates as we can. One thing you can do from time to time to ensure that you have the latest software (which can also possibly address your voice recognition issue) is to say "Alexa, check for updates."
