I had tjhe smaller original dot which I loved but the sound got bad for some reason. The new one is ok but I'm not in love with it. You have to be carteful because if you barely touch it sometimes it will make a noise.

I really like this model. I very much enjoy having the digital clock face. It is like having an old school alarm clock, except it’s smaller, it’s clearer, it’s smarter, and you can ask it to do things. Seriously, though, it is a vast improvement to the previous “Dot” models.

Purchased this product and have spent the past 3 hours trying to set it up. Will not connect to wifi. I’m About to return this piece of junk.

we use to have google home mini but they no longer support specific games that my daughter who is blind would play for entertainment. I am so happy that we bought Amazon Echo dot with the lit clock (5th generation). You can see the lit timer, songs that you choose, and clock on the face of the Echo Dot. it has at least 24 fun games for entertainment that I know of and so much more. Very easy for my daughter to use and Echos interaction with you is awesome. If you are hesitating don't, it is worth the money you pay for it and more. Doesn't support head phones but we really don't use those so that isn't a problem for us. Maybe next generation will support them.

Many applications require a subscription and Bit complicated

I now have 3 of these 5th Gen. Echo Dots. Great speakers and great to have the subtle clock display. It will take you thru it's own very intuitive setup. Well worth the price. One word of caution: If you have a couple that have been working for you, you may encounter glitches adding an additional one to the "family". Why? Go ask your little sister....

I really love this. I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and they are very happy as well.

For the price and how easy it was to order online and pick up in the store and works great and fits in tight little spaces havent gotten to use the light bulb we live in a travel trailer take s different light bulbs maybe yall good make bulbs for travel trailers would be awsome

Device will not connect and tried several times to link to internet during setup

Very happy with my purchase, from quality of the speaker, to the color was lovely. I highly recommend, love that it has a clock to keep track on time easily instead of looking at my phone.

This extender version for eero needs help. Hopefully the next generation will carry better signal

Bought this some time last year, a little while after buying a echo pop for development, my Lenovo Clock 2 died, I was originally going to get a Clock 2 but google ended support for 3rd party displays and speakers at that time, I saw that got it on sale. GAssist is pretty slow after connecting enough devices and services, never have I ever seen speeds this fast with any smart home assistant, i love how amazon has great intergration with the FireTV and being able to turn off and on any TV with any FireTV plugged into it. Do better google.

I loved the speaker! Super convenient and loud. It helps me with the simplest things and so nice that it can put on a song for me on command.
