There’s really not much to say about a Alexa device. Other than I’m replacing a hockey puck echo dot. If you know you know. So this is definitely “cuter “than the old hockey puck. It still has a pretty small footprint on the nightstand and it comes with a Clock that is not too obnoxious that you could keep it on all night while you’re sleeping.

Easy to set up and has a better sound than the Dots. I like the feature that shows the artist and the song that is playing. Easily connects to other units,

My Echo dot is perfect. I like that it has the clock display. It takes up the smallest amount of space. The sound this little speaker has great sound.

I had the echo dot 3rd generation and decided to try the 5th gen. I am glad I bought because the sound is way better, it’s softer and smoother. The 3rd gen is ok but volume is a little sharp and can be annoying sometimes. I love to play music with it and the bass is amazing. You will not need any other Bluetooth speakers after this, and the high volume does go really high if you love your music a little loud and banging. Overall, a great product, easy to use as with all the echo dots I have used so far, and it’s worth it.

Amazon's 5th Generation Echo Dot with Clock has been very good to me. Alexa's response to my questions and commands is immediate and coherent and the illuminated clock is great at night, with very clear digits. I've had several Amazon Dots in past years (with my first one only costing $10) and I've love them all, and this is no exception.

Bought this for my 15 year old. He set it up without any issues. Uses it for scheduled alarm clock on school days. Has it connected to his tv so can do voice commands for tv shows. Plays his music on demand. Great device. I like that anyone in the house can talk to the device and it activates, not just him. Great size, good sound. Would buy another if needed

This is a great upgrade from my last Echo Dot. I love that it displays the time easily on the front, and when I have a timer going it displays that too instead of having to ask how much is left on my timer. I should have upgraded awhile ago. It was so easy to switch too. Just went into my Alexa app, unpaired the previous one, paired this one, and the settings and everything remained the same.

I really do recomend a echo dot weather it is a 1st generation 2nd , or 3rd it has been very impactful in my everyday life. I use it to play music on spotify to put my alarm on for every week day, to know the wheather and to even play games like song quiz which is very fun to play with friends. Overall i would recommend this item to someone who wants a speaker and or a alarm clock this is the best of both worlds and the best part is this item is for anyone and everyone.

Alexa is clear sounding from the echo. I let how the time shows on and the weather when ask how the weather is. The price for it prefect with black friday sales. Overall very good purchase to making a smart home.

Find Alexa a companion of interest!!! For my age....??? it's fun to have her around. She will turn my house lights on and off as I set. Find her good to have music and even take her suggestions on what I might want to hear. Yesterday in the evening she suggested some relaxing music to sleep with. Have to say Alexa doesn't talk back to me...!!! For ease. I am 85 and set it all up complete with the smart plugs. Lovin it!

Nice addition to the household and decent upgrade from the previous generation Echo. Like the fact that there is some sort of display, whether it's for time, or other functions. It has decent build quality, and the speaker seems to produce decent sound quality for music listening, but definitely not a Bose or Harman Kardon quality. Overall, a good smart speaker that can make your space more functional.

Love it! I have it in the bathroom to keep track of time while getting ready for work. One of the features I like is that at time it self dims to keep the light from showing out of the bathroom.sound is also better the the last generation.

This is a great product! With this newer version, the dot matrix display can display more versus the older version. It is louder and the clock adapts the brightness to the room. I find it nicer to have compared to the Echo Shows because it is more *just* a clock, instead of having a screen to show a bunch of random things I may not be interested in (despite having turned off everything in Home Content in settings).
