We got this to upgrade from our echo dot once we decided we like the whole smart speaker thing. The sound is better although it tends to throw an actual echo in our kitchen when it is turned up. But it is fun to use and pretty well integrated into our daily life. I wonder if it listens to us. We are pretty boring anyway, so no worries.

I bought this speaker for my teenage son who wanted to play music in his room. I had no idea I was going to like it so much when my son told me all the things it could do. I sound is great clear and loud. Best part Alexa wakes my son up in the morning. I did end up buying another one for our basement. No complaints here.

Put this device in my home to learn how to use Alexa. My parents are elderly and live in another state. I put the Echo Dots in their house and one linked to theirs in my house. Now I can talk to them anytime without having to call them and they can call me without having to pick up the phone. They can also use it to call 911 in an emergency.

This AI "Alexa" is everyone's favorite now. She can do so many things for us, I feel like she is part of our family. Writes down our grocery list, to do list, helps us turn lights on and off and plays any music we like besides giving us updates on the weather! It is truly wonderful to have her helping us is our busy lives! Thanks Alexa!!!

Alexa works fine and is teachable. No complaints about the product. Alexa will be better when more wi-fi enable home appliances and switches are available for use.

i really like the looks of this version compared to the previous verison. Got this one for my parents xmas, I think they are going to love-it! Personally I wouldn't buy it just because it comes with a bulb. Its just the white hue bulb. yellowish not the brighter white, which is what I prefer. Buts that's just my opinion on that.

After a lot of research I decided to purchase an Alexa device. I went with the Echo Plus because of the built in hub that is compatible with the philips hue bulbs. Another factor in my decision is as the fact that Apple Music was also compatible with the Echo, this was big for me! So far the Echo Plus was a great decision!

This is a solid upgrade from The echo though I don’t use the hub feature. I prefer SmartThings because of z-wave but it pairs easily!

Better sound than the Echo Dot. It is also louder.

More expensive then the Dot's but deffinetly notice a difference too. The built in Z wave hub works great as an extender to cover your house for smart devices that use zwave, Ring door lock included. great speaker. hears me talk much further away then the echo dots.

Great sound easy to set up and to use this product

I have had a Echo Dot for a few years now, and while it is functional, the sound is at best.... EHHH! I bought the Plus having heard the demo there at Best Buy and have no regrets at all. I actually have bass now. Not to mention, she hears me better, even from a distance. I recommend this device highly!

I love this speaker. The sound quality is great, compact and aesthetic design. I just wish it could be paired with an echo dot as a pair speakers.

this thing shakes mt tv it has so much bass, and it works seemlessly with all my other alexa products. the best part is im able to connect up to 50 hue bulbs with this thing with out having to create any other accounts or by any hubs or adapters. the app walked me through setup and it took just about 5 mins

This echo plus is absolutely amazing from controlling my lights and smart TV in my house. Asking weather questions if I need an umbrella for the day or not is always helpful in Upstate NY. I always look forward to giving the echo plus new skills to get me through my day. Amazing technology.

I purchased the Amazon Echo Plus 2nd Generation for my husband to put in our basement bar area. He and his friends love to listen to 80's music and the Echo Plus makes it easy for them to listen to the songs they want to hear just by asking Alexa. It's a lot easier than scrolling through the iPod touch!

Great value! The 7 built-in microphones, and upgraded audio make this Echo device an unbelievable buy. It also includes a ZigBee hub built in, which is very useful if your building your smart home, and you don’t want all your smart devices weighing down your WiFi.

it is very easy to use! great sound quality as well... my only dislike is the need to keep it plugged up for use. i would love wireless!

i received the echo as a gift. wasn't sure i would like it but i find it to be a lot of fun and useful also. the sound quality for playing music is excellent and there are many "skills" that you can get an app for and use for entertainment or for turning on lights, appliances etc. great little gadget.
