I bought a set of four and they work just as well as the more expensive. really love the sound quality and voice recall.

Good for audiobooks/podcasts during chores

We primarily use it to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while cooking/cleaning in the kitchen. The set took some trial and error but overall it works well for our purposes. We played with the Alexa function for a while (for the novelty) but prefer not to use it that way. No issues during the day or so that we tried it out - it's just not appealing to us.
