Volume doesn't get loud enough to use outside in yard

Free intrusiveness... Did not want it came with TV. Not planning to use. Why would anyone want the internet monitoring you more than they already do?

Cute little gizmo that sounds good and works with Alexa.

Ok sound. Not as good as others. Replacing all Alexa’s due to Amazon spamming advertisements more often.

The sound quality is great but the wake up alarms would cut out immediately after they went off. Promptly returned it and bought a Dot.

I picked the new Amazon pop up because I liked the second generation Amazon dot that I have had for several years because of how small and non intrusive it is, and this unit is now the smallest Alexa unit they make currently. They have white, charcoal, lavender blue,and midnight teal colors, I got charcoal, matches all my others, but all are not easily seen where positioned, so color was not important to me. The dot has gotten taller and round, and is slightlh bigger than this. That being said, the features across all old and new are the same, simple controls, basically volume up and down on the unit and a mute, but that's it. The upper volume limit is very adequate for a bedroom, but I have it in my larger rec room area in my entertainment center and it does fine there. I use it to stream football games and music at times and this fills in a gap I had between rooms. It connected into my Eero mesh network easily, and is now part of my 3 other Alexa units as "house music" grouo. I have my thermostat and several subscription streaming music services controlled by ALexa and all work well. The mic is responsive on this and appears to pick up commands well. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants a alexa and doesn't want to spend a lot but have all the features and a small footprint.

What a piece of garbage! Nothing positive to say about it. No wonder they were giving it away. I set it up which was a joke. I paired with my fire stick which completely screwed up my tv and then threw it in the trash. Seriously, not even having to use it.

This is a cute speaker. It connects to my Alexa app and shows up alongside my other echo device. It was an easy set-up. The microphone had a hard time picking up my voice, so it did not always respond when it was called. I had to pick it up a few times to get it to respond. The sound is very crisp and clear. I may need to move the speaker further away from my other echo speaker, which seems to be more sensitive. Its great having all speakers in one app. The device is a cute, odd shape that looks nice on the counter top. There is a light on the top indicating statuses, the status bar. It is light weight, and does not take up much space. The cord that comes with this speaker is white. I think it would have been nice to have a black cord to match the speaker. Not a deal breaker, but it would have looked better. I like the feature of having a microphone that can be turned on and off for privacy. This is so much better than the always on speaker. I plan to add more devices and make my home a smart phone. This echo pop is the perfect size to add to any room. So far, no complaints. This is an easy to use and set up devices. I plan to add more

I was suppose to receive this item for purchasing a TV. There were none available in store that day so it was suppose to be mailed to my address. NO SHOW! This item shows in my account. I blame this on the best buy.

The sound quality is subpar in comparison to the Echo Dot. The microphone doesn't seem to ever hear me unless I yell. Design is boring for a new Echo product. Unless it's free as a promo item; I wouldn't purchase.

We currently have a fan in our master bathroom water closet that has an assistant built into it but it is very temperamental and works less time than it doesn’t. Since almost all of our lighting in the house is controlled by Alexa enabled products, we wanted to get a unit for the Master Bedroom. We wanted newer technology but nothing huge as we were putting it in our media fireplace. When I saw the echo pop I thought that it would fit in well. It gives us the ability to turn lights on or off in the house as needed so no more walking through a dark house to go from one room to another. Setup was very easy and accomplished within a couple of minutes. Everything you need is included. The only drawback was this has the actual plug in to an outlet kind of cord and I was hoping for a usb style so I could plug it directly into my media center. This would have allowed me to place it where I originally wanted to. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind as you do have to have a power receptacle close by. While it comes in multiple colors, we got the charcoal so that it would blend in enough to basically disappear in the original location but now it is on top in plain sight. It is kind of a cute looking little thing and much less bulky than the full-size unit I have and not as outdated as the regular dots. Just as with the other units you can use the Alexa app to change the wake word to a few others though it would be nice to be able to personalize the name rather than use one of the few they already have. Within the app you can also change the accent and language that the unit uses which is kind of fun to play with. Though being Irish I wish they had an Irish accent lol. The light that comes on is not overly obnoxious and can be adjusted as well. I like that I can talk in a whisper and it will pick up my commands. For such a small unit the sound is actually pretty good on it. I have had it read audio books as well as playing music or telling me the news… all of which were crystal clear and appropriate. Just as with the others you can link them together with others you may have to create a multi room speaker system. So while it is basically a smaller newer version of the same thing we are enjoying it and it works very well for our needs.
