Hello Nick! I am terribly sorry that you are having issues with getting your Echo Show 15 to function. There is a chance that it is just frozen in an update and needs rebooted or factory reset. A few ways to troubleshoot this are as follows: 1. You can first try pressing and holding the Mute button on the top for roughly 10 seconds. If it is functioning correctly, it should bring up a screen that gives you a Power Off option. 2. If that does not work, then you can try unplugging it and doing a full 30 second count before plugging it back in. 3. If neither of those work, then you can try to hard factory reset it by pressing both the Mute button and Volume Down button (-) simultaneously for about 30 seconds or until you see either the Amazon logo come back or it say Factory Reset in tiny letters in the lower corner of the screen. That will factory reset it, allowing you to reset it back up again. If none of the above helps, then my recommendation would be to contact Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to further troubleshoot and to explore the options available to you. Hello Kate4! I wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to provide your valued feedback on the experience you have had with your Show 15. I am so sorry for the issues you are having. There are a few things I would like to address to hopefully help with giving you a better experience. First, you can troubleshoot your Netflix or other apps logging you out by doing 2 things. You can make sure your device is up to date by swiping down from the top and then going to Settings>Device Options>Check for Updates or Install Updates. You can then make sure you have the most recent version of the app installed on the Fire TV by navigating to Find within the Fire TV portion of the device and then going to App Library>Highlight Netflix and hit the menu button (looks like 3 lines)>then delete and redownload the app. Once both of those are done, you should be able sign in and it should keep you signed in. Sometimes these 3rd party apps may need an update or may have an issue and if it doesn't take an update automatically, this can remedy that. As for chore lists and calendars, one suggestion I would say is to set up facial recognition profiles for each person in the family. You can access this by swiping down and going to Settings>Your Profile and Family. You can have either a Sticky Notes widget, Calendar widget, or a To-Do List widget set up under each person's profile and it can even be catered to each person in this way. There are also a wide range of other widgets and Skills that you can download by going to the Widget Gallery. You can access this by swiping down from the top. This just scratches the surface of things you can do with your Echo Show 15. You can find a list of FAQs and additional uses by going to Amazon's Device Support page online. I just wanted to let you know a couple ways you can customize and personalize your device so that you can minimize some of the pain points you are experiencing. First, you can definitely mute Alexa so that she doesn't become a hassle for you by a one tap on the Mute button on the top or side of the device (depending on your orientation). While Alexa is a very popular and famous Virtual Assistant and can do many things (you can look at our FAQs online or in the Help menu at anytime for ways to utilize her) she isn't for everyone and every moment of the day. So this can limit her interactions to only when you choose to interact by unmuting. Second, you can customize your Home Screen content by going to Settings>Home Content and then by toggling on and off any features you would like or not like displayed on your home screen rotation.
