Will look forward to ad free alternative so i can turn this thing into the copy machine scene from office space movie.

I am unsure of what specific ads you are referencing as you should have the ability to toggle on and off the numerous recommendations that scroll through the device's home screen by navigating to Settings>Home Content and switching off whatever you would not like to see anymore. This is with the most current firmware update as well. I apologize for the trouble you are having with getting these to work for you. I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to troubleshoot further to see if we can resolve your situation for you so you can go back to enjoying your Show 15.
