Bought this for my wife for Christmas as she wanted somewhere convenient to check our schedules and it's been a headache. You whisper to it at night and it responds at full volume, have to repeat yourself several times because it doesn't respond to Alexa. Responds to conversations where Alexa was not said. The Alexa application is not intuitive to use either.

I've been using the Echo Show for a few weeks now and I'm really happy with it. The screen makes such a difference compared to just the regular Echo - being able to see the weather at a glance, watch recipe videos while cooking. My favorite is the music which I use constantly! The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, and I love being able to ask Alexa to show me my calendar, display photos, or pull up a quick YouTube tutorial. Setting it up was super easy. I had put off setting it up for a few days because I thought it would be hard. It basically worked right out of the box. Overall, it's become a central hub in my office and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add a smart display to their home!

The display is large enough to show calendar, appointments, shopping list, and weather on one page with the current time and temp on the lock screen. We have an Alexa smart home ecosystem and Google Calendar. By using an Alexa skill, we now have one place to check for the day's events. Works by voice or by a glance. Integration is seamless, the Smart Home display is on the second page and works well. Alexa+ is incorporated, it has turned out to be fairly competent with plain language queries.
