We loved our Echo Show so we decided to gift one to our parents who are in their 60s. They love it and have fun asking it to play music and what the weather does. Can even call your phone if you have misplaced it. Usually responds pretty well and does what you need it to, nice having an assistant to do so many things.

I bought one for my mom and one for my grandma, they love it. I can use the Alexa app on my phone or tablet to talk to them, even if they’re too busy to FaceTime with their phones in their hands (cooking, sewing, other hobbies, etc). My mom loves to bake so hers is in the kitchen so she can talk on it or even ask Alexa to show her things while baking.

This is a really cool gadget but lacks a great sound for what we would like. We have it set up through all of our dots to play music so I can walk seamlessly to each room with music flowing. I knew not to expect much in regards to sound and that is the only downfall. It’s really amazing to ask Alexa to call someone and be able to see someone while making the call. It’s also really awesome to just drop in when everyone is home to catch up. The user ability could definitely be improved.

We purchased our Echo on a whim...It was being offered as an incredible Best Buy “Deal of the Day”. We absolutely love it. It sits in the kitchen and we use it throughout the day...news, weather, UTube videos, recipes, and talking to our grandchildren thru their Echo! I didn’t even mention the music and video aspect. I think we need one in EVERY room!

Very responsive and hears all my commands the first time. Also love seeing the weather forecast on screen and also great for viewing my security cams.

The unit does a good job of playing music from Amazon music. It hears your voice very good although it gets confused at times when I tell it to turn on a particular lamp and I have to slowly pronunciate it. Like that the music shows the lyrics. Do need a family account on Amazon music to plan different music on different units in different rooms at the same time though.

I bought this for our kitchen where we enjoy cooking and congregating. Streaming music is great and you can search for recipes just by asking Alexa.

I love this!! With a simple command, I can see video of the front or bac yard, dim the lights at night, turn the air conditioner down or off, even the window one!!! These commands are SO easy to set up!! Next we plan on getting the ringer for the front doorbell to connect it to this. So awesome!

Upgraded from echo to this and this is just what I needed. Works well with my new Ring door bell and security cameras. Love the versatility of this.

This is a great tool for controlling all our devices in our home. From our Ring doorbell, cameras, to the lights and a/c. Would definitely recommend

At first I was concerned with the funny looking angle I saw on the pictures. The item was not displayed at the local store so I decided to take a chance. As an owner of the Echo Dot i figured it would work in the same manner and it does. I love that it works with the Arlo Pro. The screen is great and I soon figured out the reason for the funny angle of the item. The angled screen works great Only setback or recommendation would be to add a auxiliary output at the rear. Also you can watch prime movies, YouTube videos etc.

Good product, easy to do the basic setup. I need more investigation to fully utilize it. Wife uses a Fire tablet and likes the product integration.

Well designed, good sound, has everything Alexa has plus the HD video. Always ready with answers with associated video or text if applicable. Can show movie trailers, can also watch Amazon video. Excellent on-demand security video with Amazon compatible cameras. Voice activated message and/or video calls to Amazon Show owners or Alexa App holders. Highly recommended.

We got this Alexa for the kitchen, I use her to get recipes and sometimes my son use her to assist him with homework when he works in the kitchen table. Sound is very good as well as the image. My only complain is with the Alexa system in general. It doesn't know as much as Google does, so sometimes for homework she just don't have the answers.

Bought this for the kitchen. I use it to listen to podcasts, watch Youtube videos, and watch recipes while doing the dishes or cooking something. The audio is loud enough and the screen size is big enough for Youtube watching. It looks pretty nice too, so it goes with the furniture and the white-ish color of my kitchen. It would be nice if the audio is more higher quality at loud volumes (like the Sonos or Bose). But I understand that this may not be doable at this price point.

This is the best assistant from Amazon, with the completion of the screen you can also see images from cameras and other devices! Simply awesome!

I use this in the kitchen as a timer and for recipes. Plus, I can check the front door camera if someone is there. I purchased another from my son, and then two of the echoshows (smaller versions) for my office and bedroom. Love them! Have decent audio--and the 2nd gen is even bigger and has better sound.

Replaced a regular echo with this unit. Allows video chat with our son in college and replaces a digital picture frame at a very affordable price.
