I was jealous when our son showed us his Amazon Show and some of the things it was capable of doing. Since AOL eliminated Instant Messaging, my wife and I were less able to communicate because our offices are on separate floors. So we got two Shows and two Spots and now not only can intercom easily but use Alexa for music and many other things. We will probably start using some smart home devices which Alexa can also control. It's a fun device which seems to be getting better all the time.

Have it hooked to my Arlo cameras. So much easier to ask alexa than to open the app on my phone or computer

Love this. Use it almost everyday. Great for multiple uses around the house especially in the kitchen

I love to be able to ask Alexa to find me a recipe and then the choices show on the screen, Lots of fun features.

We really like the s reen feature. But Alexa has limited answers. She says "I don't know" way too often

After experiencing this model, I have to say, no need for the next gen. This does it all, and then some! :)

The echo show has a nice screen. It works conveniently with the other echo I have in my house... I would buy another one..

Alexa is awesome!! Also bought the light plugs for my lamps so I can just say please turn off lights in my bedroom. Done.

I got this for my inlaws so they could talk with my wife on a regular basis as she messes seeing them and I am glad that I did. At the time it was a better deal than the gen 2 and though that model is better, this is just what they needed to get into the smart devices and home automation landscape. I got them a few smart lights, smart plugs, some echo dots and this has helped to make things a lot easier for them around the house. They appear to like having the ability to see and char with family members and its easy enough for them to use. They actually find it amusing and show it off their friends every chance they get.

easy setup and we can now talk to each other and see each other very easy. great way to keep in touch without a computer.

My kids and I love the echo show! It keeps my shopping list, plays music, and the kids can watch movies on it!
