The software is a beta work in progress and there is an annoying Alexa widget on the main screen that can't be removed at all. As a Prime member, I'd like to have control over my screen and only display photo slideshows, but this device insists on including Alexa splash screens and other things I don't care to see. Overall, it's ok.

Works as a Family Chore Chart and a Weekly Menu if you get creative with the Lists, plus everything Alexa. The home screen's not constantly scrolling like it does on the smaller versions and its much easier for my kids to check off their completed chores. Its just a matter of time before Amazon makes dedicated widgets for Chores and Menus and of course Alexa AI to get better, but my family loves it and ises it throughout the day. The Fire TV portion do3snt get used that often, but its still a nice feature to have as well.
