This has been a great addition to our kitchen. We use it to play music, ask all kinds of questions, and to follow recipes.

Larger screen, much better sound, richer appearance...the original version of the Echo Show gets moved down to the shop now.

The Screen is amazing and huge. Works flawlessly for watching videos. Lyrics are nice and big for when music is playing.

She's a little feisty sometimes, and she doesn't always hear what you say the first time, but from what I've read all devices like this are like that to some extent. We use this more now than our tablet, and the sound is great! We used to hook up the tablet to the whole-house speaker system but we have't even turned that on since getting this. I have learned to ignore the 'Alexa, try..." things at the bottom because, well, it's just not that big a deal to me.

This is great for playing games and video chatting. It has great sound for playing music.

Great big screen and easy to use. I have the 1st gen and I bought this 2nd gen as a gift. Such a big improvement.

Love the large display. I went back to an Alexa device because I was tired of the small area for room that is offered with the Google Home. I had an Alexa before the Google, which is why I came back. This thing has very nice sound as well, and I was surprised with the amount of great sound thing puts out. Including the amount of bass. I think if you want something with better sound quality for music, this is it.

The speakers are quality. The new bigger screen is much better not pixelated. It also has a good bass and treble built in

Much better than the 1st generation. Sometimes Alexa is a little finicky with what she hears.

With its large screen and built in hub, the show is able to turn lights on and off, show videos. Very glad we got it.

So far so good! I wanted the first gen Show, but glad I waited. Great screen, great sound. Navigation can be a little difficult. Hulu integration is good and web browser is a good addition. Too bad no Netflix app and using Prime photos for background seems to get stuck on one picture. Still learning about if but I'd recommend it.

I had some problems with the Echo Show when I first got it. Wanting to have video chats with my kids and grandkids I bought one of these for everyone. My kids had theirs up and running and talking to each other, but I couldn't get mine to work. Finally found someone who could help and now it works great. Some people complain about the messages that come across the screen, but I find them intereting and informative so they don't bother me at all.

I love that the Phillips Hue hub is not needed with this device. I am sure you get some additional functionality with it, but everything works find wothout it. The screen is bigger than the previous generation, but they all prety much do the same thing. If you want to use the Phillips lights and do not want to buy the hub, then this is the way to go. If you do not need that, then last year's generation would work for you and currently as of December 2018 is on sale at a reduced cost.

The new 10inch Alexa is a lot more crisp very good color and the sound is so much better i would recommending this.

I bought this as a gift for my elderly parents that barely do email (I'm48). After it arrived, they were able to get it up and video chat with the simple instructions that are included. Because of covid we had not traveled to see them, so It was very good to see them and hear them again. I highly recommend you get this if you are looking for a quality video chat experience that is simple to set up.

I currently have this in my bathroom and enjoy telling Alexa 'Good morning' every day and having her run through the morning routine I have set up including my schedule, traffic, weather, world news, then playing my favorite radio station. The speaker has good sound and volume (my daughter can hear it downstairs in her room on only level 4). Sometimes Alexa doesn't respond to my question or command, but I have a feeling it may be due to background noise of the fan interfering.

Upgraded my old echo show with this one, a big difference on size and sound. Love it.

Great screen size, especially if using for photos, and more user friendly for more tasks.

I bought two of these so my mother and I could see each other. She lives in another town and it really makes her happy to see and talk to me when I'm not there. I can show her things, have a conversation and the picture is crystal clear. I also love playing songs that I have saved on my Playlist Favorites, looking up recipes, asking questions and loading photos to view. A great product.
