I purchased two Echo Shows 2nd Gen for my wife and daughter to use doing and after our daughter’s pregnancy. They were both so excited by the gifts and the ability it gives them to communicate by voice but also more importantly by video. Now my wife can share more personally what our daughter is experiencing and after our granddaughter is born. Plus it does have full Alexa capabilities.

very easy to set up a use. Love playing music and listening to sleep sounds at night

The Echo Show is great to have around the house. It interfaces well with the home entertainment system, ring cameras, and will answer most all you questions. Once you set up Alexa you will wonder why you waited so long to purchase one. This device will provide you everything from stocks to recipes, play music and even read stories to the children from a prime account.

We've had Echos for a couple of years, but this is our first Echo Show. It was easy to set up and has worked without any problems. We have it set to a slide show of our family photos as the default background, and I love having that going in the kitchen. It's also nice to have easy access to recipes (with video), news, and visual weather information.

The screen is easy to see from a distance and the sound quality is outstanding.

Purchased for use with our Ring security devices. Integration with these products was seamless. A bit pricey but the quality of the device makes it worthwhile (nice picture and sound from the speaker. I was able to get two of these on a buy one/get one deal that was offered a while back. I would keep an eye out for similar offers as the holidays approach.

This was a very easy set up and it connected to other Amazon Echo Smart home network without much effort. This includes connecting to a Ring security (doorbell and other cameras) for video feed. Voice and video calling worked very well. Not a big deal but need to be mindful on where you place the camera, where you sit and room lighting. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that while this has good Amazon Echo functionality, clearly Facebook, Amazon and Google to NOT want you to video chat to the other's devices. FB only video chats to FB... likewise for the others. This is too bad as this limits consumer use.

Having this Amazon Echo Show device is great. The picture quality is great, and the sound is perfect. I am able to see how easy it is the follow the instructions from an expert, in cooking and baking. It is nice that I can pause the screen to go and get items I need to complete my project. This is a screen everyone should look into purchasing.

I’ve got 6 Echo shows. My most important ones are in my kitchen and home office. I love it for the recipe videos while I cook. Watching the news while I work is a plus in my home office. My 3 year old can already command an Alexa and can watch his favorite YouTube videos in an instant. Gotta get Hulu Live to make it the bomb. Good luck with your decision!

Better sound and bigger screen. Happier with this version over first.

The echo show is everything I hoped it would be. The speaker is incredible for listening to music. The large display is a plus as I can see it from across the room no problem.

Echo show 10 great picture and ease of setting up a big plus

The 2nd gen. Echo Show has a bigger screen and much better speakers than the original. I replaced my 1st gen. with this and gave the 1st gen. to my mom. I did end up buying an adjustable stand that Amazon sells for it though because out of the box, the screen on the new one is too close to the bottom and the angle is less than ideal, but that would depend on where you put it. Otherwise, it’s great!
