Purchased mainly for video chat - very pleased

They work out great as video chat screens. My son & family called on their device Christmas day to my parents device & we were all so excited because we could see each other while talking. I know there are a whole lot of other things this can do, but right now, the video chat is the most exciting for us.

LOVE THIS!

I can watch Hulu, Amazon, CNN or the local news while I cook, eat and do dishes. I have it hooked up to my Ring doorbell so I can access the camera view on this device and not go to the door. Its amazing? If I dont want to watch anything, I just ask it to play Amazon music or my Spotify library. Love it!

Excellent update to a decent product

When Amazon announced the 2nd Gen version I was hesitant, but finally pulled the plug and I am so glad I did. From a better screen, to clearer, richer audio this update is everything Gen 1 should've been. I am extremely happy that I pulled the trigger and picked this up.

How did I ever live without it?

I use it constantly and have bought Echoes for my (adult) daughters. Whether it's asking a question or listening to music or watching a TV show in the background as I work, the Echo is awesome. Great picture and incredible sound.

Love this Echo

I love being able to listen to music or watch a TV show while I’m working in the kitchen plus I can hook up other echo dots to connect with it. It’s full of information! One of the best points of it is I can “drop in” on my elderly parents to make sure they are ok.
