Got this as a gift. It has improved sound over other Alexa devices I have. The screen and ability to use this as a fixed tablet is great for the price I’ve looked up. Works great. with home automation and calling another one or an echo spot. I’d like amazon to do a better job ensuring skills actually work. Some of the skills I thought I could do like use Wyze cameras don’t work.

Great for the home. Placed in the kitchen area. Used for recipes, shows lyrics for songs, great for helping the kids with homework. Showed the spelling of the words when asked to spell a word.

I like how simple it is to set up and use. You can have Alexa turn on the TV, Play Music, Give you the weather, turn on and off the lights, Even show who is at the Door with and approves Smart doorbell. This is a must have.

Purchased this during Black Friday 2018 and got an awesome deal! Love being able to pull up my 'Ring' devices and of course the video calling. The speaker on this Echo Show (2nd Gen) is amazing! Would definitely purchase it again.

Great speaker, outstanding video, even good for karaoke! Had it by my desk but my wife wanted it moved to the kitchen...only fair, I guess. Very easy to setup and a nice looking device. I can see another one in my future!

We are really enjoying the ease of turning on lights, tv and music by simply asking Alexa. Also really enjoying the screen so that the words show up to songs, recipes, etc. and facetiming with family. We definitely recommend it.

I love using this show. It is a good product that will benefit families as they deal with distance. We have used video chat very often and found it gives a clear picture and good audio.

great addition to my home Alexa system. Easy to setup and use; and have never had a problem with it. Really like the video calling which makes it great to talk to the grand kids.

Love my Alexa. This full screen works really well with my Ring Flood Light Camera just ask to see front door or patio and have a live picture from the cameras on the screen. Very good sound. Have no cons to enter on this one.

This item is just great. Plays music well acts as a great smart hub to control your lights etc. pair it with a nice stand so you can move it around easily (many different ones available on Amazon) and it’s perfect.

I have been a long time user of Amazon Echo and Google Home products. I finally reached a point where I had to settle on one and Echo Show made the decision for me. One of the reasons I chose the Show is I wanted to be able to communicate with my parents (who are still using flip phones. yes, flip phones) and Echo was easy enough for them to use. Since I have some many extra Echos I have acquired over the years, it also makes for a great whole-house intercom. Some other reasons I really enjoy it is due to the integration with my Harmony remote, Ring doorbells, and and Hue bulbs. Although Google does now support these products, I have been leveraging Echo's support for these for so long, it has just become second nature and I still think Echo has the slight advantage. The three things I feel are still missing are the ability to easily mask the camera (there is a mute button of the microphone), a stand, and the ability to customize the wake word. The angle that it sits works for daily use, but with the camera being fixed, I find myself having to stand right next two it when using the camera due to the angle. I have invested in an aftermarket stand that solves this problem, but that is an additional 30 that I feel should be part of the product. When I want privacy, I will put a post-it over the camera, but that is not a clean solution. Would be nice to be able to disable the camera or have a commercial solution, similar to the laptop covers that don't cover the microphones. Although the wake word is a minor issue, I do find that sometimes I have to speak louder than normal and several devices respond. Because of this, I would be good to be able to customize the wake word. Overall, I love it!

I wasn't sure if this was right for me, but I have been thrilled. Great screen size, and the sound is better than expected. I recommend a stand and screen protector - ours is in the kitchen - but not a requirement!

I have purchased an echo show 5, show 8 and now this monster . This one has a huge touchscreen which is perfect for video calling and seeing great details on video presentations. A must-buy

Very large high resolution screen. Picture is very clear. Sound quality is good with deep base support. Responsive and adds great features and expansion to any home smart tools.

I got this for my 75yr old mother that has no clue how modern technology works. This has so many wonderful features that are easy for her, but also help me and my siblings keep an eye on her and keep in touch. The Drop In feature is my favorite. My mother doesn’t always answer the phone when we call, but having the option to drop in & call her to the Echo Show makes it easier for us all. It’s also customizable in different languages so she can speak to Alexa in Spanish & get replies she would understand. By linking to the Amazon Photos app she is able to see all recent pics of her grandchildren & great grandchildren, making her feel more included. It was a great purchase.

Love the large screen. Had the small one originally and this is a huge improvement! Makes it easier to see items on the screen and the picture and sound quality is very good.

Perfect for kitchen. Much louder speakers than first GEN. Also has a hub built-in for hue lights and other accessories Wish it came with a swivel mount stand to sit on and was not sold separately for 40 bucks

easy setup, great sound for playing music. Use it in the kitchen alot for finding new recipes since we are eating at much more than we have in the past. Seem to be less "drops" than the dot.

I have many alexa products and thought this would be a good upgrade to the family but it is no as impressive as I thought it would be. The lag time for pulling up things like our ring doorbell or our arlo cameras is ridiculous. Once a motion alert goes off on either system and you que alexa to show it, the person or animal whichever it may be is already long gone. The "try this" suggestions are rather annoying and I'm hoping that there will be an update of some kind that eliminates these. I feel that alexa is still not as smart as she should be when it comes to asking fun factual questions. The screen quality is good and the sound is awesome especially once you play with the equalizer a little bit. Overall still not super impressed tho
