It has a really nice sized color display and clear picture. And it can do so much stuff -- we're just scratching the surface with it. We have ours in the kitchen, so it's great for asking cooking/measuring questions, viewing recipes, and adding things to your shopping list. It's also great for playing music (nice sound), It can also make phone calls and let you watch videos/shows. There are also a host of other features such as finding a lost phone, turning on/off lights that use smart-plug technology, listening to podcasts, and more. Great device and worth the money.

Overall I am not happy with this product, it has more a thump screen than touch screen. Highly frustrating, Alexa is ol, annoying when you say something and it repeats back something different. Maybe my British accent is misunderstood

I have had the original Echo Show since it was first released and did not expect much from this update beyond a bigger screen. So I was floored when I played some music and discovered it sounds much MUCH better than the original. For starters, the bass is much stronger because of the built in subwoofer, which the original lacked. But there is also some sort of Dolby processing going on that simulates a much wider sound field than the device itself is capable of otherwise. That combined with side firing, instead of front firing speakers means excellent stereo separation (vs essentially mono with the original model). Definitely worth buying if you use it a lot to play music. The much bigger screen means it is also much more usable as a video playback device. Its essentially a 10 inch tablet, with better resolution than the original, and integrates well with Prime video and other services (There is no native YouTube app but you can get it through the browser). Beyond those big improvements, the new Echo Show is not that much different than the original in terms of functionality. Does the same stuff, in the same way. Perhaps a bit faster but nothing dramatic.

This worked ok, did notice the screen start to go, and for how expensive this one was amazon did nothing to help. Wont buy another Amazon part like this again

Buyer beware! I had to return this because within one week of having a placed on my corner table by my living room..This one a certified dust magnet. Get the black one instead. Trust me!

Returned two pack to store for full refund. Decided on a chargeable tablet that does close caption in real time for elderly mom with hearing loss. So much easier!

Sound went out in less than a six months and nothing we can do to fix it.

I have the first generation, was expecting more out of this one.

Does not work / no sound does not work ...........

I was on the fence with the Echo Show when the first generation model came out and am glad I waited for the second generation. This echo show model sits on our kitchen counter and we use it while we are cooking to set timers, play podcasts, and even play movies. I previously hooked it up to my Ring doorbell so I could see the Ring feed on the echo show. We recently realized that you can also bring up youtube videos to play on it. Who knows what else it does?

I recently purchased this and upgrade from gen 1 model. This is far superior. The screen is much larger and the speakers are on the back side as opposed to the front. And now there is browsing capability which is awesome. I just wish there was a built in tilt option to change angel of the unit instead of an add on that needs to be purchased separately. Also, Alexa is still amazing! I would highly recommend.

Was great for a couple of months but I kept it in the kitchen and I guess the grease from cooking went into the back and it stopped listening correctly. I returned it to Amazon and got a refund to spend on a new Alexa device.

Perfect with Xfinity. Drop in feature is great to monitor home, pets or loved ones. Works best with Amazon music. You can also save your Google account in browser to access services.

This thing is mind blowing. The list is endless on what it can do. Music with very good speakers. Videos on prime and Hulu. YouTube through the web browser. Step by step recipes. Control your smart home with the built in hub. Even see your doorbell camera

Got this today and was able to setup quickly. Once updated and running ran through asking for recipes, videos, music, weather, etc. works fantastically. The audio is amazing. More bass than I expected. And using the monocle skill works my my hikvision cameras. Running rtsp. At this point wishing I had two.
