If you dont allow it to save your wifi password it will not work. I regret buying this and actually regret buying any and all Alexa devices

Thank you for your feedback on the Echo Show 5. I am sorry to hear you aren't pleased with the device. If you do change your mind and wish to utilize the device for music, alerts, weather, or any smart home functions I do want to make you aware that you have the option to turn off communication/adaptive listening skill on any Alexa device. You would follow these simple steps: 1. Open the Alexa app 2. Select devices 3. Select Echo & Alexa 4. Select your device 5. Select Communications 6. Turn off Communications.
