Everything I expected.

I own an Echo Show 5 first gen for two years now and I wanted this 2nd Gen to place in a different room. It provides as much information as I need. It will play music and will read books that I select. I am happy with my purchase and it's performance.

If you have a smart device already then no. But if you do not have one then go for it. I bought it so I could have a smart device in every room of my apt. I have this device plus an echo and a Google one. Three diff. rooms.
